Collectively, the joint committee of the Qatar’s ministry of Interior, Administrative Development and Labor and Social Affairs has decided to come up with the novel legislation that will come into effect by the 28 October. According to the Law No 13, it has been announced that there would be regulation of the exit, entry and the residency of the expatriates. It has also been ordered to the establishments and the employers to pinpoint employees before they leave Qatar for the purpose of security. It has been said that the percentage of workers must not go beyond the 5% of the total workforce.
As the matter of the fact, the reform in the legislation and laws in the shape of the exit permit would likely to be implemented on the 28th October. On the other hand, the various provisions of the law numbered 21 of 2015 had been altered and change for the purpose of ensuring the effective check and balance on the entry and exit of the expatriates and people who leave the country. what has to be the worth noting thing is that expatriates would be having the right to move out from the country as they do not need to have the exit permit along with the validity of the work contract.
According to the Government officials and information that was released after the joint committee’s decision, it has been emphasized that the new law and the amendment in the laws would be effected from the 28th of October strictly.
