Karachi is the provincial capital of Sindh province and is the most populous city of Pakistan. It is ranked as the 7th most populous city in the whole world has a population of about 23.5 million. Karachi is often called the ‘City of Lights’ or ‘City of Quaid’ because being the city where Quaid-e-Azam was born.
It is the world’s 7th least expensive city live based on cost of living. It is the location of the Port of Karachi and Port Bin Qasim, two of the region’s largest and busiest ports that play an important role in the development of the city. Tomb of Quaid-e-Azam and beach in Karachi are worth mentioning.
‘Heart of Pakistan’, Lahore is the provincial capital of Punjab. It is world’s 15th most populous city in the world. Lahore is known for its amazing history and architecture. It was the fulcrum for the rulers and emperors and so have many enchanting forts and historical buildings. It is the main cultural center of the Punjab region.
Badshahi Mosque, Lahore Fort, Shalimar Gardens and mausolea of Jahangir and Nur Jahan are all must see places in Lahore. The city is much more developed now and despite its historical attractions, there are now many attraction spots here, Fortress is an example of it.
Lahore is the cultural heart of Pakistan and hosts most of the art, cuisine, festivals, music, film=making and gardening events. Divine food is the main focus point in Lahore and Food Street is may be the most visited place in the city as Lahoris are true foodies and they love to have a delicious meal than any other thing.
Islamabad is the capital of Pakistan. If we call it the most bootylicious city of the country then it would not be wrong because the city is ranked as the 9th most beautiful city in the world. Also the city is the 2nd most beautiful capital in the whole world. The main allure of the city is its greenery. CDA (Capital Development Authority) is responsible for the maintenance and planting of trees in the city.
Islamabad is located in the Pothohar plateau in the northeastern part of the country. It was built during the 1960’s. Before its formation, Karachi was the capital of Pakistan but after that Islamabad was made the capital of the country and all of the administration was shifted from Karachi to Islamabad.
The city has a lot to admire including Pakistan Monument which is itself the example of unique architect work and Faisal Mosque which is a 4thlargest mosque in the world. Islamabad is ranked on very top on the Human Development Index, equivalent to that of Belgium. There are frequent traveler to Islamabad Pakistan, the city is the hub of 16 most recognized universities including Quaid-e-Azam University and NUST. Other than these, Allama Iqbal Open University is the world’s largest university by enrollment. The city is pretty saving to live having the lowest crime rate in the country.
