Kenya Airways has suspended the flights to and from Guangzhou, China because of coronavirus. According to the latest information, Kenya Airways has suspended and canceled the flights from 31st January 2020 until further notice. Kenya Airways official has said that because of the widespread of the coronavirus this was a necessary decision,
According to them, they are working closely with the Ministry of Health and also the Foreign Affairs By which they can understand the situation and we’ll decide when they should resume the flights.
According to the University of America is very prone to get the coronavirus because of the lack of medical facilities. Also, the new scheme that one person from China came to Nairobi and went to the isolation ward to be checked. Thankfully the tests were negative. But according to the Kenya airways and according to the Kenya government, they are taking every decision very thoughtfully and analyzing every step to secure the people of Kenya.
Kenya’s government is instructing the people that don’t travel to China until it is very necessary. To the decision of suspending the flights is very difficult to take, but because of the security and life of human beings around the globe and without spreading the virus in Kenya, this decision was very ultimate to take according to the Government of Kenya.
Still, if you are planning to go to China because of some essential things, then you need to go through the screening process. If the person is clean on the screen in the process then they can go for some small time frame.
The Kenya Airways has cleared that their flight towards Bangkok is still open.
Kenya Airways is not the only airline in the world who has canceled flights to words and from China but many big day lines like the British Airways and American Airlines have also cancel the flights because of the coronavirus and the spread of that very quickly.
The Government of these countries has decided that they need to contain the virus by taking these precautions and by analyzing what the source of the virus was and how they will be cured.
American government and England government have also decided and instructed that nobody will be able to sit in the flight towards China and nobody should travel to China by any flight and still, it is very necessary.
By now, around 200 + people have died because of this virus, and around 1 lac people are infected in China alone.
