Orkhon Valley
Orkhon valley is situated along side of Orkhon River in central Mongolia. Orkhon monuments are very popular and most inspiring monuments are of nomadic empire. Such a valley is included by UNESCO in world heritage list and it represents nomadic pastoral traditions. These mountains are considered sacred from old times. Whoever was able to take control over the valley was considered as a leader of Turkic people. Turkic capital used be in Orkhon Valley for the reason that people used to get influenced by the leader of this valley. There are ruins of Khar Balgas that people may want to watch over. These ruins consist of a palace, different sorts of shopping markets, wonderfully designed temples and monasteries. People can watch ruins of Genghis Khan and that is a great source of inspiration for history lovers. Tuvkhun Hermitage is also reflective in this valley that is 2,600 above than the sea level.
Flaming Cliffs
Flaming Cliffs is a part of Gobi dessert and these cliffs are situated in Omnogovi Province of Mongolia. This area got its popularity as the dinosaur eggs were firstly discovered from this place. The red and orange color of cliffs along with a dessert area is a great source of inspiration for tourists. Especially for those tourists who have never visited a dessert are much inspired from these flaming cliffs. Apparently the color of cliffs do change over as to when sun rises up, a different color during the day time and an entirely different look at the time of sunset. Velociraptor was also discovered in this valley and such an animal was featured in Jurassic park film. Oviraptors and its eggs were discovered in this valley and such an animal gives eggs and builds nests. It is believed that such animals used to live in flaming cliffs 80 million years ago. In these cliffs important fossils have been found. Those visitors who are looking to visit this place should be aware that this is illegal to remove fossil from flaming cliffs as such fossils are the identity of these renowned cliffs.
Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake
Terkhiin Tsagaan Lake is also known as White Lake. It is situated in Khangai Mountains which are in central Mongolia. It is recognized as one of the most beautiful lakes throughout the world. The lake has a total length of 16 km. All around this lake there are mountains and such mountains do increase the beauty of this lake. There is an enormous greenery around the lake along with trees. Along with a beautiful site of the lake people can enjoy their time with surrounding greenery and trees. People can watch horses and some other domestic animals near this lake. Tourists can enjoy horse ride. The lake has 4- 10 km of depth and the water is very clean. Near to this lake there are resorts as to where people can stay.
