Etihad Airways , Abu Dhabi Tourism and Cultural Authority join hands

To oversee the development and organization of a range of hospitality, sports, entertainment, retail and leisure destinations on Yas Island, Etihad Airways has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority (TCA Abu Dhabi), and also with Miral Asset Management (Miral).The MOUs will strengthen ties between these three parties, and shore up the global appeal of Abu Dhabi as a continual cultural, business and tourist destination. The signing ceremony was attended by, was attended by senior executive and board members from Etihad Airways, TCA Abu Dhabi and Miral. The ceremony took place today at the Ferrari World theme park on Yas Island.

This special partnership is set to the steer the development of inbound destination and stopover sojourn to Abu Dhabi through the fusion of forces on various tactical activities which include co-branded marketing and communication, market intelligence and data exchange, cruise industry support, loyalty and affinity programmes, and business and leisure events contained within the Emirate and around the world.

 

It is joint commitment to make Abu Dhabi the best destination brand in the world. This unique and important partnership between the national airline, TCA Abu Dhabi and Miral will boost Abu Dhabi’s image exponentially. Etihad Airways will introduce cheap flights from London to Dubai with Etihad Airwaysconnecting to its travel destinations.

As the national airline, it continue to foster mutually beneficial relationships with the leading drivers of growth and progress in Abu Dhabi and the wider UAE. In the 12 short years since Etihad Airways was launched, both the airline and the Emirate have witnessed a spectacular transformation and are now leaders in service and hospitality. TCA Abu Dhabi and Etihad Airways will now coordinate on targeted B2B and B2C programmes that aid the growth of ‘Abu Dhabi Now’ and ‘Access Abu Dhabi’ trade and consumer programmes, which is focused on destination management campaign that supports online travel agencies and key tour operative through incentives,

 

Miral and Etihad Airways will enter into an adjoining relationship in which Hala Abu Dhabi, the airline’s destination management subsidiary, will be rendering a wide range of tourism, marketing and distribution services that encompasses product development and global distribution.
