The Buenos Aires Metropolitan Cathedral is a dominant worship point in the Buenos Aires, Argentina. When we talk about Belgrano, the place is mentioned as one of the largest barrios in Buenos Aires. The place stretches over an area of about 6.8 km. the place is probably not considered as a highly visited tourist attraction but it is a pleasant neighborhood for walking and admiring the residential homes; a good walk to enjoy. Belgrano was named after General Manuel Belgrano who was the creator of Argentina flag. The place had gone through some interesting pathways to reach the current appearance. After the death of the General in 1820 the town next to Belgrano was supposed to be named as Belgrano but the next town had developed to so much extent that it was transformed into a city and the name Belgrano was given to the current place. Belgrano is split into 4 areas; Belgrano R, Belgrano C, Bajo Belgrano and Central Belgrano. The major attraction grabbing thing over here is the presence of grand 19th century homes lining wide and leafy avenues. Galileo Galilei Planetarium is one of the most exalted visitation sites in Buenos Aires. The Planetarium was established in December 20, 1966. The mapping of the Planetarium was started in 1958. And after that the construction began under the supervision of architect Enrique Jan in 1962 and finally the building was then opened in 1966. The building has a very fine and classy structure having five floors, six stair cases and a 66 feet diameter room with 360 seats. The inside of the building is shaded with reflective alumina. The museum is notable because of some interesting facts and figures like it has a piece of lunar rock that was brought back to the earth and was gifted to the museum by Richard Nixon. The museum is a hub of collection of hundred million years old marine life and ammonite fossils and a metallic meteoroid is displayed on the entrance. Also a Copernican which is a German instrument dating back from 1901 is displayed in the museum. Several children show monitoring functions, educational lectures and special workshops for children are held over here. So for that reason, the museum is liked by the children. The museum contain two basements, one of them has a specialized library, rest rooms, administrative offices and air intakes. And the second has the engine room, the tank and the audiovisual production department.
Buenos Aires Zoo is one of the largest and famous zoos in the city. As the name is indicating, the zoo is situated in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The project of building of zoo began in 1874 and the zoo was opened on 11 November 1875.calling it the most eminent zoo in the whole South America wouldn’t be wrong. At that time, a small section was dedicated for animals. It is covering an area of 45 acres. The zoo has an endless variety of different species of animals and it is near to impossible that you cannot find an animal in this zoo. 89 species of mammals, 175 species of birds and 49 species of reptiles giving a total of about 2500 animals make this zoo the most notable. The Buenos Aires Zoo’s institution has a goal to conserve the species, conduct researches and by the findings and conclusions made through these researches, educate and preach the people. The zoo is a free style zoo that means there are some animals that are in the cages others are housed on the islands in the zoos many ponds and some are roam freely. Peacock, nutria, rabbits, native birds, rodents and monkeys room the park freely. The zoo has also a farm, an aquarium, a reptile house and a tropical rain forest. The farm of the zoo has pet animals like donkeys, sheep, goats, chickens, turkeys, cows, horses, rabbits and rosters. The aquarium has many penguins and fresh water fish including piranha. The aquarium also contains seals and a sea lion show for which the visitors have to pay some extra money. The reptiles are placed in the reptile house of the zoo. The tropical rain forest is not a home to many animals; it is a two story building having a tropical plant life and an indoor waterfall.

The museum is a natural history museum situated in the city of La Plata. La Plata is a notable city of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The museum was opened on November 19, 1888. The building of the museum is 135 meters high in length and today has about 3 million fossils including 44000 botanical items. A 58000 collection library that is serving more than 400 university researchers is considered to be as a treasure of education. The museum serves a wide range of visitation including 8% tourist outside from Argentina per year. The foundations of the museum were led by Francisco Moreno. In his childhood, he was very much fond to collect fossils and bone findings and his desperation unwittingly were laying the pillars for future La Plata Museum. In starting of his working, Moreno had to face a lot of difficulties to maintain the institution and his collections. But later on his collections drew the attention of people especially associated to anthropological community. The structure of the building is a typical Greek Roman style building having two floors that contains 23 rooms. The building has an oval structure and is covering an area of 7000 square meters. Besides of its enchanting interior, the entrance of the building is furnished with two saber-toothed tigers. The Republic of Children which is also known as the “city of children” is a theme park situated in La Plata Partido, Buenos Aires. This theme park is a tiny city for children having all those faculties that a original city has. The city has a parliament, a government house, the court house, airport, port, theatre, church, restaurants, hotels etc. it is a 52 ha of land that was built by Eva Peron foundation. It was opened on 26 November, 1951. Eva Peron; the founder of this small city did not attend the inauguration because she was suffering from cancer and had died several months later. Addition to its charm is that the place was visited by Walt Disney in 1950 and he was very much astonished by the charismatic beauty of this park and decided to build Disneyland over here.
