Chittor Fort:

The Chittorgarh Fort is popular for its splendor which is situted near the Udaipur during the seventh century by Chitrangad Mori of the Mauryan Empire.  It is the largest and most magnificent fort in India with longing and arcane history. It was the capital of the great Mewar Kingdom for consistent eight centuries. The fort is in the city of Chittorgarh (present Chittor). The fort stretches the approximate area of 691 acres over the hill — there are numerous historical places such as two-famous gates, temples, and various palaces in the fort premises. It had adequate water bodies to store almost a billion gallons of water that can supply an army of fifty thousand soldiers for consistent four years. During the centuries, the fort managed to withstand with times of victory, peace, defeat, and destruction.

Amber Palace:

Nahargarh Fort:

The fort overlooked the city of Jaipur and was built on the verge of Aravalli Hills. The former name of the fort is Sudarshahgarh. It served as the most definite line of defense for the city of Jaipur. The outer walls of the fort are expended over the neighboring hills.  The fort never witnessed any hard time during wars and attacks. However, it has a significant part in history because it is the place where the treaties were made with the great Marathas.

The King of Jaipur, Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh, chiefly built this fort in the year 1734. The fort was further extended during the reign of Sawai Ram Singh. Dirgh Patel built numerous buildings in the year 1883. The fort similarly served as the hunting residence for various Maharajas. The fort also served as the shelter for the British President’s wife during the Indian rebellion war in the year 1857.

Jaigarh Fort:

The magnificent Jaigarh Fort, also known as Victory Fort was constructed on the raised land of the mountain range of Aravalli during the reign of Raja Jai Singh II in the year 1726. The fort covers almost 3 kilometers of area. It was built to protect the other fort. The fort itself oversees the Amber Palace and Maota Lake. It is also situated in the city of Jaipur, Rajasthan. The structure of this fort resembles the Amber Palace. But it is much more rugged and complex in structure. The underground tunnels interconnect the Amber Palace and Jaigarh.

Mehrangarh Fort:

The prodigious fort of Mehrangarh is situated in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The fort was built by the chief of Rathore clan Rao Jodha in the year 1459. The fort has impressive thick walls. There are numerous palaces famous for the complicated wall carvings and the extensive courtyards. The fort has zigzag road, the leads to the city of Jodhpur. The second gate of this fort clearly shows the imprints of fired cannonballs. Moreover, the fort has numerous gates. The great Mehrangarh museum is one of the great museums of Rajasthan. The museums have the arms, costumes of the great Rathores.
