Maldives is an Asian country located in the Arabian Sea in Indian Ocean. It lies at the southwest end of India and Sri Lanka. It is regarded as the smallest Asian country by population and area. Out of 1192 islands of Maldives only 185 islands are used for living purposes. The rest of the islands are used for economic purposes largely for agriculture and tourism.
